Cobweb sunset

As I stretch to cuddle the horizon
A naked tree stirs the daylight with its sharp claws
All the textures feel wrong

I try to cling to the changing colours
While dreams hang loose
Suspended by spider silk

That's when the sun weaves its cocoon with pink and orange threads
Before diving in the sea
Dragging along light and distances
